Salem Town Forest is a dog-friendly park that sits on nearly 200 acres of land. The scenic national forest offers year round recreation and is home to a handful of both beginner and intermediate hiking trails.

America's Stonehenge

Known for its collection of man-made stone structures, this local site has been around for over 4,000 years. The man-man chambers, walls and ceremonial meeting places were built by ancient people who were highly knowledgeable in both areas of astronomy and stone construction. Wildcat Falls

Wildcat Falls is a picturesque conservation area located near Merrimack, New Hampshire. This outdoor hot spot stretches 2.2 miles long and features a beautiful waterfall. The trail offers a number of activity options and is good for all skill levels. Dogs are welcome as long as they are properly leashed.

The Windham Rail Trail

Need to stretch those legs after a long day in the car? The Windham Rail Trail is the perfect spot. On this scenic 4.1 mile trail you can expect to cross a handful of bridges, two pond marshes and through some beautiful ledges. While on the trail, you can expect to see an abundance of wildlife such as deer, ducks, beavers, owls, turtles and maybe even an occasional fisher cat. As long as they stay leashed, your pup is welcome to come along with you!
